POONA OPHTHALMOLOGICAL SOCIETY presents a CME on Straight Gaze, a workshop on squint & neuro-ophthalmology for PGs.and a skill transfer course of squint enthusiasts.
The CME will be preceded by a POS Clinical meeting.
Date: Sunday 19th July 2026
Venue: Paediatric Ophthalmic OPD, H V Desai Eye Hospital, Mohammed wadi, Hadapsar, Pune
Time: 9 am to 4 pm.

Registration charges: ₹ 500+18% GST (Rs. 618 including gateway and convenience fees).
Spot registration: Rs. 650 (inclusive of 18% GST) to be paid online through a QR code, between 8am & 10am. No cash payments please. If you do not have online payment facility, please ask someone to pay on your behalf and pay him cash. Your kind understanding is highly appreciated.
Program:
8.30am to 9 am: Breakfast
9am to 10 am (Hall B) : Clinical meeting of POS. Contact Dr. Radhika Paranjpe (9881035078) for submitting interesting cases.
10am to 4 pm (Paediatric OPD) : CME Straight Gaze.
Lunch at 1pm.
Highlights: There will be 5 stations
- Paediatric vision screening.
- Paediatric refraction basics.
- Motor evaluation of squint.
- Sensory evaluation of squint alongwith Hess and diplopia charting.
- Workup for non strabismic binocular dysfunction and myopia progression.
