ICAgile Certified Professional in Coaching Agile Transitions (ICP-CAT) is a certification program offered by International Consortium for Agile (ICAgile). International Consortium for Agile (ICAgile) is a community-driven organization that consists of pioneers, experts, and trusted advisors. ICAgile is not just another certification body.

Test Structure

ICAgile does not have exams as such but they rely on the trainers for validating the participant’s learning. Leanpitch have subjective assessments which includes creating a Change Strategy for coaching enterprises to assess the participant's knowledge

 

Eligibility

Participants should hold an (ICP-ACC) ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching certification from ICAgile.

Participants should have at least 12 months of work experience as an Agile Coach at a team or a Program Level.

Participants can take up the ICP-CAT course right after completing the ICP-ACC certification course.

 

Validity of certificate

ICPCAT certification is valid for life from the date of attaining the certificate. ICAgile certificates have life long validity and never have to be renewed again.

 

Role Description

Enterprise Agile Coach works at an enterprise scale who has advanced skills built on Coaching, Facilitation, Management Consulting and Organizational Development. It includes working with organizational structures and culture, developing leaders, building a strong team culture, growing technical practices, change and program management, complex adaptive systems, increasing business agility, etc. 

More than a role it is a set of skills and competencies that an individual can obtain and leverage in guiding organizations to become more Agile. Similar to management consulting or organizational development, people in these fields will not be experts across the entire domain, but rather broadly informed with some specialty(ies), to act as catalysts in guiding change. ECA skills can contribute to practitioners in roles such as Agile Leader, Agile Coach, Agile Sponsor or Agile Champion.

Enterprise Agile Coach is one of the most demanding jobs in the industry. The average salary of an Agile Coach as per PayScale is 25 Lakhs with the higher side of 36.6 Lakhs. Being an ICAgile Certified Enterprise Agile Coach and the right amount of skillset will not only get you a job in your location but anywhere in the world.

Outside India and as per salary.com, the pay range is 160k $ to 200k $. With right experience and knowledge an Enterprise Agile Coach earns 245k $.

 

Career Path

Enterprise Agile Coaching is a discipline and the titles in the industry could be Enterprise Coach, Transformation Coach, Organizational Relationship Coach, Systems Coach, Change Catalyst. Change Agent and so on. The titles usually depends on the Organization. The next role is equal or similar to that of a COO in an Organization. A passionate Agile Coach ends up being an Independent Coach running a single person Organization.
