IITGMUN CoVID-19 Hackathon

 Event Description:

The IITGMUN COVID-19 Hackathon is a concise 12-hour event where countries in blocs of five come together to work out political, economic and social strategies to tackle a post-pandemic world, deal with political tensions and international relations as they form alliances with other country blocs and play out their strategies over the course of five enthralling discussion tracks.

Event Details:

Delegates will first be allotted a country based on their preferences on completed registration and will have the opportunity to do agenda research for their country.

Bloc division will be done on the day of the conference. 

The first few hours of the event will be given for bloc-wise strategizing and forming alliances and deals with other blocs.

This will be followed by debate sessions on different tracks (each being a facet of the agenda), wherein one speaker from each bloc will be allowed to make a statement about their strategy for the track. 

While one bloc is delivering a statement, the other blocs appoint a dedicated whip for the track to make a rebuttal statement and converse with the judging panel using a proprietary virtual chit system.
