About the Event
With welcoming our new year 2021, we are happy to invite you for our first trek of the year - Kalsubai Peak Trek.
A Fundraising Trek for Tribal Students - 10th January 2021(Leaving on 09th Jan 2021 Saturday Night)
Let's join our hand to support education of tribal students. Profit earned through this event would be donated to SAMPARC NGO.
Reporting Point: Dadar near Pritam Hotel
Time: 09 Jan 2021, 10:30 PM (Saturday)
(Pickup Point: Sion, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Thane, Kalyan Fata)
Itinerary is as below:
Day 0
10:30 PM- Start the journey towards Bari village by private bus.
Day 1
03:30 AM- Reach the base village, Freshen up & have breakfast.
04:00 AM- Start trek towards peak after a brief introduction session.
08:00 AM- Reach the top & explore the peak and surrounding area.
10:00 AM- We will start descent towards the base village.
02:00 PM- Reach base & have lunch.
03:30 PM- Start return journey towards Mumbai.
08:00 PM- Reach Mumbai by (Approx.) with happy memories.
Trek Cost: 1499/- Per Person
Which Includes:
- Traveling Charges (Dadar to Dadar)
- 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, Refreshments,
- First Aid Kit and All Safety Measures.
- Expertise and Guide Charges.
Exclusions:
- Anything else other than mentioned above.
Note: Minimum of 10 participants are required to conduct this event if seats are not filled then event will be canceled or postponed
Things To Be Carried:
1. Good Footwear (Mandatory).
2. Water (2 ltr Minimum Compulsory).
3. Identity Proof. (Mandatory).
4. Torch with extra batteries (Compulsory).
5. Snacks to Eat and Energy Powder.
6. Personal small medical kit (Optional).
7. Extra Pair of Clothes.
8. Insect repellent cream, sun protection cream. (Optional).
9. Other things as per your choice.
10. A haversack to put all these things.
Important Points to Keep in Mind:
1. The leader's decision will be final and binding on all members. No Arguments will be entertained.
2. Trekking, Rock Climbing, Rappelling or any adventure activity is potentially risky.
3. Trek may be canceled or postponed depending on the weather or any other unavoidable circumstances.
4. Consuming liquor or any kind of Alcoholic substance is prohibited. Carrying any kind of substance that’s illegal is not allowed.
5. Smoking is strictly not allowed. Anybody found smoking or consuming alcoholic drinks will be expelled from the event without a refund.
6. We carry safety Equipment at any point in time, Safety is our First Priority.
7. Not to carry any gold ornaments. If anything lost, you are only solely responsible.
8. In case of event cancellation paid fees will be refunded to you.
COVID Safety Guidelines
1. Kindly do not register for the event or travel if you have come in contact with someone who has Covid19 in the last 14 days.
2. Cooperate for temperature checks, questions reading any symptoms, and oxygen level checks; these are done to help you limit the spread of the virus.
3. If you have any symptoms like fever, dry cough, weakness, body aches, etc., at the time of screening. You won't be able to participate in the event. You will have to be evacuated on the medical condition and should report to the nearest healthcare center.
4. Each member of the group (participants/leaders/ clients & staff) wears a protective mask while interacting with each other. Do carry few unused, disposable masks.
5. Cover-up wear full sleeves shirts and full pants, hiking shoes, caps, and face bandana over your mask. Covering up will help reduce exposure to the Covid19 virus.
6. Avoid touching new surfaces and touching your face continuously.
7. If the location of your adventure activity is too crowded, then be prepared to leave or wait for the crowd to disperse/for your turn.
8. If any participant, trek leader test positive after returning from the event within 14 days of the Activity. They should maintain transparency and inform SahyadriMavale. It will help all others isolate themselves and get tested.
