Khagol Mandal 26 April 2025 Overnight Sky Show at Nashik

The site has superb sky condition and the chances of visibility of Milky Way are very high. Come home to Star packed Sky Session with Khagol Mandal !

The program starts at 07:00 pm (IST) in the evening and runs up to 5:00 am (IST) next morning. The general outline of the program is as follows:

Regarding Charges:

Charges are as mentioned in the booking window.

Note that one can pay for program only and join. All other components like Dinner, Books, Map etc are optional and it is encouraged to bring your own food. 

Tea offered during the night is complimentary !

Dadar-Sahas Camp-Dadar Bus (Tentative):

For ease of travel, we offer Special Bus from Dadar(MUMBAI) to the site and back at additional cost per person. Depending on the number of bookings, car like Ertiga/ Innova etc may be offered instead of bus. 

Departure from Dadar East: 11:30 am

Stop for 5 min: Viviana Mall

Stop for 5 min: Bhiwandi Phata Kalyan East

Arrive to site: 5:30 pm (Actual time may vary due to traffic)

Paraphernalia Required:

Heat Alert: It will be hot in day time but we expect pleasant cold in the morning. 

You should carry your dinner tiffin (if you have not booked dinner), mattress / chatai for seating on open ground, sweaters, hand gloves, head scarf / muffler, water bottle and your personal Medicine. Carrying mosquito repellant like Odomas is recommended.

Also, it is recommended to carry light snacks for early morning when we get tea.

Please note that we are not able to provide any of the above things at the site.

How to reach:

Please follow these instructions to reach the venue. After reaching Trimbakeshwar, turn right towards Jawhar. Go straight for about 8 kilometers. When you see Gurukripa Nursery on the right, slowly turn right at Waghere fork. Now please be careful. In front of Kajwa Valley, you will see a village called Bombiltek. Turn left here. Here you will see the banner of Khagol Mandal (if no one has picked it up) and come to the last house from Bombiltek village. Immediately after the last house of Bombiltek, you have to turn left. There are often water pipes laid here. Be careful that they do not burst. You will also see the banner of Khagol Mandal on this corner (if no one has picked it up). Please be careful here because there is a small and narrow road here. If you miss this turn, you will go into the Ambali valley and may get lost. So please be careful. When this small road ends, you will see a water tank on the right side. Please come towards water tank, this is our camp site.

कार्यक्रमस्थळी पोहोचण्यासाठी कृपया या सूचनांचे पालन करा. त्र्यंबकेश्वरला पोहोचल्यावर जव्हारच्या दिशेने उजवीकडे वळा. साधारण ८ किलोमीटर सरळ या. उजवीकडे गुरुकृपा नर्सरी दिसली की हळू हळू वाघेरे फाट्यावर उजवीकडे वळा. आता कृपया सावकाश रहा. काजवा व्हॅलीच्या समोर बोंबीलटेक नावाचे गाव दिसेल. इथे डावीकडे वळा. इथे तुम्हाला खगोल मंडळाचा बॅनर दिसेल (कोणी उचलला नसेल तर) आणि बोंबीलटेक गावातून शेवटच्या घरापर्यंत या. बोंबीलटेकच्या शेवटच्या घरानंतर लगेचच डावीकडे वळावे लागते. इथे बरेचदा पाण्याचे पाईप्स टाकलेले असतात. ते फुटणार नाहीत याची काळजी घ्या. या कॉर्नरवर देखील तुम्हाला खगोल मंडळाचा बॅनर दिसेल (कोणी उचलला नसेल तर). कृपया येथे काळजी घ्या कारण इथे छोटा आणि अरुंद कच्चा रस्ता आहे. जर तुम्ही हे वळण चुकवले तर तुम्ही अंबाली खोऱ्यात जाल आणि हरवू शकता. त्यामुळे कृपया काळजी घ्या. तसेच हा लहान रस्ता संपला की उजव्या हाताला पाण्याची टाकी दिसेल, इथे आपली कॅम्प साईट आहे.
