About the Event
Envisioning Better Healthcare Evolution
NSS IIT Roorkee is organizing its annual flagship event, National Social Summit 2021, from March 27-28, 2021. NSS IIT Roorkee is a student organization of over 1000 active & dedicated members, driven by a strong urge to help the needy, abiding by the motto: "Not for me, but for the Nation." In the past years, we have worked on numerous initiatives and events, such as Blood Donation Camps, Cleanliness drives, Education for the underprivileged, etc.
As the past year has valued the importance of healthcare and its awareness, the NSS IIT Roorkee has worked on several healthcare initiatives such as mental health, antimicrobial resistance, road safety, rare diseases, etc. Moving ahead, we have taken a step to dedicate this year’s edition of the National Social Summit to healthcare and frontline warriors during the time of COVID-19 and will be organizing Summit on the theme, "Envisioning Better Healthcare Evolution."
Through the Social Summit, our main focus is on developing strategies and proposing solutions to bring a positive and impactful change in fulfilling the country's current healthcare needs and make sustainable future plans. This year, we will be covering a wide range of events:
