About the Event
Dear Esteemed POS Member,
We are pleased to invite you to the Annual General-Body Meeting (AGM) of the Poona Ophthalmological Society. The details are as under.
Venue: Poona Club, Room No. 21, Pune 411001.
Time: 6.30 pm onwards.
Fees: (Exclusive of 18% GST and 4.75% Payment Gateway Charges)
1. Individual Rs. 500.
2. Couple Rs. 750.
3. Extra Person Rs. 500 each.
(THE MEETING WILL BE FOLLOWED BY DINNER, FUN AND ENTERTAINMENT)
The Agenda for the AGM shall be as follows:
1. Welcome speech by Hon. President.
2. Confirmation of minutes of last General body meeting.
3. Any matter arising from minutes.
4. To receive and adopt report of Hon. Secretary.
5. To receive and adopt report of Hon. Treasurer.
6. Release of POSTER.
7. Awards to be presented.
• POS Prof. Bhatawdekar award for the best DNB Student 2021-22.
• POS Best Case Award.
• POS Award for Most Interesting Case.
• POS Award for Maximum number of cases.
8. Member’s achievements.
9. Ratification of new members.
10. Declaration of Election Results: Vice President, Jt. Secretary, Jt. Treasurer,
Managing Committee members.
11. Felicitation of outgoing members.
12. Outgoing President’s speech and introduction of new President & handling over
of charge.
13. Incoming President’s acceptance speech.
14. Installation of New Managing Committee.
15. Appointment of Auditors for the year 2022-23.
16. Any other matter with prior permission of the chair.
17. Vote of thanks.
Please note that the notice regarding the POS Elections has already been mailed on 7th February 2022.

Requesting all the members to submit their achievements by 10th march 2022
on the E mail eyedoc.pune@gmail.com. The members will be felicitated during the AGM .
Applications are invited for POS Prof. M.D.Bhatwadekar Award for the best DNB student 2021-22.
The award carries a certificate, The last date for application is 10th March 2022.
