Power of Active Clear Thinking - Webinar

About the Event
Don’t you think that ‘most of us live a life that is only happy in patches, mediocre largely and stressful in chunks.'
Do you know why?
Well, consider this- we are endowed with thinking faculty to make choices and decisions to navigate through life- the quality of choice determine our success and happiness…
Our brain-power is generally adequate for us to deal with our day to day affairs. However, our personal practices and more importantly some factors, which are largely structural in nature, eats away into this thinking capacity- leaving us thinking significantly below our potential.
It is like a high-tech automobile engine running on crude petroleum when it could have been running on refined petrol.
That causes our choices and decisions to be below par- and, we end up living a life as described above.
If we believe that we should strive for the happier life we aspire for, then we must work towards enhancing our Thinking Productivity! That would mean, not just betterment- but transformation!
Towards this, I have put together a ‘Working Narrative’ on Thinking, that, treats Thinking as a life skill. The narrative is strung up from some simple tenets on Life, Happiness & Thinking…and from concepts and perspectives drawn from leading Thought Leaders in this area- Eli Goldratt, of TOC fame [Theory of Constraints], the Nobel Laureate Daniel Kahneman (‘Thinking, Fast & Slow’), and Swamy Parthasarathy (Vedantic tenets).
The webinar will change the way you relate to Thinking, explain the essence of ‘Active Clear Thinking’ (ACT) and lay the foundation for its practice.
What you'll Learn
The practice of ‘Active Clear Thinking’ (ACT) requires us to understand the :
- Linkage between Life, Happiness & Thinking
- Difference between ‘Thinking’ & ‘Thinking Clearly’ (the benchmark of good quality thinking)
- Key blocks & factors that impede Clear Thinking including Nobel Laureate Daniel Kahneman’s 2 modes of Thinking – Fast & Slow.
- Concept of being ‘Mindful’ ‘of’ our and ‘in’ our Thinking and the key aspects to be mindful of
The workshop will provide actionable concepts, guidelines, and some day to day thinking templates that can be applied in various day to day situations.
This should mean better choices and decisions, leading to your being able to pluck the low hanging fruits, towards a happier life…
