Responsible Investments Series 2 ESG Investments

About the Event
Course Brief
ESG has been at the center stage to be presented as a remedy against successive debacles of our economic system in the last decades. ESG offers strong foundations for a more sustainable model of development whether social, environmental, ethical and nothing more solid than a total economic integration. With the huge quantum of money being redirected into sustainability investment as a support of a megatrend, it is impossible today to skip the ESG concept whether being a company, a NGO or a financial entity or even a neophyte investor. Understanding precisely what it is at stake and how to demystify the ways ESG is used today by professionals, it helps companies to articulate stronger sustainable business models they can more confidently share with investors and stakeholders as well as it helps investors to select wisely their future investments while building financial valuation models to take into account more intangible aspects that are getting more importance and transforming corporations' financial profiles. All of this ultimately creates factual opportunities and risks discoveries. Our second session on Responsible Investment course has been designed to be a comprehensive program giving essential concepts and keys to understand the nature of ESG in the capital markets context as well as giving tools for ESG experts or future experts for they would be able to practically conduct diagnostic and analysis (ESG + Financial), perform valuation taking into account ESG and even being able to understand how ESG fund managers have been strategizing and what they are looking for. Finally we give indications on integration not only for Equity but for other types of Securities like Fixed Income.
