🔥 What to Expect:
The Matchmaking Algorithm: You cannot bring a team. Register solo, and our backend algorithm will pair you with your next lead investor, co-founder, or collaborator on the court.
Round Robin Format: Play multiple rotational matches, guaranteeing you maximise face time with new connections.
The Black Ball Drop: Pure chaos. Randomly dropped onto courts for double points and maximum hype.
The APEX Showdown: Midway through the event, all casual games stop to watch the city’s top VIPs battle it out on Centre Court.
The VIP Sundowner: Paddles drop, and the networking lounge opens. This is where the adrenaline turns into actual closed deals.
Stop handing out business cards that get thrown away. Sweat, compete, and connect.
Event Instructions:
Solo Registration Only (Players): You cannot register a pre-made team. Social Slam is built on an algorithmic matchmaking system. Register solo, and we will pair you with the exact people you need to meet (Investors, Founders, Partners) on the court.
Equipment: Premium paddles and balls will be provided at the venue. You are welcome to bring your paddle if you prefer.
Dress Code: activewear/athleisure is recommended for players. Smart casual is perfect for Spectators attending the VIP Sundowner.
Right of Admission: This is a highly curated event for the startup, picklers and creator ecosystem. BashBuzz reserves the right of admission to maintain the quality of networking.
Punctuality: Player pass holders must arrive on time for check-in to ensure the matchmaking algorithm and round-robin tournament run smoothly.
