About the Event
Stories from India is back with Season 3 and this time with physical launch in New Delhi & Kolkata!!
With our first venture in India with Stories from India project in 2019, we released a masterpiece of 6 volume series with 50 authors over a span of 3 months and ever since our love and bonding with all our writers have been as strong as ever.
Write your best fictional or non-fictional short stories or poetry on an open theme and get curated for publications with Photoshoot & Physical Book Launch at Taj Vivanta, New Delhi on 18th Sept and Taj Vivanta, Kolkata on 16th Oct, and Sueños Hyderabad our flagship store with Lunch on 28th Aug.
And the best writer wins an Amazon Alexa Echo Dot during the book launch!!
Those unable to join in person will be notified via email or online for the deliveries.
How to submit?
a. Write your short story between 1,000 and 8,000 words or poetry between 800 and 4,000 words and upload your manuscript here (by 31st July) after registering here which is a mandatory step.
b. Content should be in English only.
c. Content maybe published elsewhere earlier but author should have the rights to his/her content.
You may register now and block your slots and submit your manuscript later on or before the given due date.
We will curate content on a rolling process as and when they come in.
The "works" would be placed in anthology/collections to be produced as books.
For Participants,
1. Published, distributed and promoted by us as Paperbacks, Hardbacks and eBooks worldwide with equal share of royalty paid to authors on sale.
2. Grand launch at Taj Vivanta, New Delhi on 18th Sept & Taj Vivanta, Kolkata on 16th Oct, and Suenos Hyderabad on 28th August - with In Person registration
3. Paperbacks will be placed on display for sales at our upcoming outlet chain, Sueños.
4. Best Writer will receive Amazon Alexa Echo Dot facilitated at the venue.
Fee Structure:
Online - Includes online participation for Book Launch/Submission only.
In-Person - Includes physical Book Launch + Solstice Marketplace + Networking Lunch
