About The Presenter:
Dr. Dharini Parmar is a management researcher and faculty at many prestigious MBA institutes. She is a management graduate and also a Ph.d in economics. With 15 years of professional experience she has gained expertise in wide range of topics related to business policy area. She has a rich experience of working with Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad for more than a decade in role of academic/research associate and has published various research papers. She has been instrumental in doing many national/international research projects and courses while working with esteemed IIMA faculties. With her diverse interest in teaching, training and research she is currently performing roles of consultant for business growth, faculty in management institutes and also does research projects.
OBJECTIVE
1. Identify and classify the common constituents of Financial Statements.
2. Apply accounting principles, concepts and conventions to record business transactions culminating into a statement of profit and loss, a balance sheet and a statement of cash flows.
3. Will be able to understand Capital Structure Theories and their implications for financing of business, at a primary level.
4. Should be able to comprehend and apply Capital Budgeting techniques like Pay Back Period, Accounting Rate of Return, Profitability Index, Net Present Value, and Internal Rate of Return.
5. Will be able to understand the concept of Working Capital Management with respect to components of Working Capital, their interdependence, and measures for evaluation of working capital management
