This one-of-a-kind event, taking place on 28th and 29th September 2024 at IIT Hyderabad, brings together aspiring developers, tech enthusiasts, and innovators to challenge themselves, learn from industry leaders, and create real-world solutions.

Event Breakdown:

Day 1: Full Stack Development & AI/ML Workshops
Date: 28th September 2024
Duration: 8 hours each

TechXcelerate 2024 kicks off with two comprehensive, hands-on workshops designed to cater to participants at all levels — from beginners looking to start their tech journey to experienced developers eager to refine their skills.

Full Stack Development Workshop:

In this workshop, you’ll dive into the complete process of building web applications, starting from the front-end (HTML/CSS, JavaScript) and working your way to the back-end (Node.js, databases). By the end of the session, you’ll have the skills needed to create dynamic, responsive web apps that can handle real-world demands. Whether you’re building user interfaces or managing databases, this workshop will empower you to bring your web development ideas to life.

AI/ML Workshop:

The AI/ML workshop offers an in-depth introduction to the fascinating world of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Through practical examples and real-time coding, you’ll explore how AI can be applied to solve complex problems. Using Python, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn, you’ll gain hands-on experience in developing machine learning models, working with neural networks, and building AI-driven solutions that can predict outcomes and automate processes.

Day 2: 12-Hour Hackathon

After a full day of learning, it’s time to put your new skills to the test in a thrilling 12-hour hackathon. This is where ideas take shape, and creativity meets technology.

Challenge:

You and your team will be tasked with solving real-world problems using either Full Stack Development or AI/ML tools. The challenges will be designed to stimulate creativity, encourage collaboration, and test your problem-solving abilities. Whether it’s building a functional web application, designing intelligent systems, or optimizing processes, this hackathon is the ultimate test of your skills.

Collaboration & Teamwork:

The hackathon is not just a competition but a celebration of teamwork and collaboration. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside peers, brainstorm innovative ideas, and collaborate with participants from diverse backgrounds. You can either bring your own team or form one at the event, combining strengths to tackle the challenges head-on.

Judging & Prizes:

At the end of the 12-hour challenge, you and your team will present your projects to a panel of judges, consisting of experts from the tech industry and academia. Your project will be evaluated on criteria such as creativity, technical implementation, feasibility, and overall impact. Top-performing teams will be awarded exciting prizes, with the chance to gain recognition for your work within the tech community.
