The Creativity Summit by Uable
All children are born creative. They look at the world differently, through the lens of their inquisitiveness and imagination. But when they enter classrooms that are built for conformity, that spark of creativity starts fizzling out.
And what a sad little world we would live in if creativity were to disappear? What if Newton was too busy with his lectures and never went for a stroll to the apple orchard? What if Einstein didn’t fail his exam to qualify to train as an electrical engineer? What if Frida Kahlo never explored the questions of identity and gender? What if Neil Armstrong didn’t while away time wondering about the stars and the space he saw through his neighbor’s telescope?
It is high time that we free our children from the antiquated classrooms. Children must have access to learning playgrounds where they are free to experiment, to think afresh, to create, explore & discover their authentic selves.
Children, parents, educators and researchers from across the world need to unite to reclaim childhoods, to reimagine learning and to replenish the draining creative spark of this world.
Creativity Summit is an initiative by Uable to help children be free of classrooms, be free of instructions, of mindless consumption, and be free to create.
At the Creativity Summit, we’ll debate, discuss, and engage in a dialogue about how we can harness and develop our children’s creative intelligence to empower them with the right set of tools to build a happy and successful life.
We welcome each and every parent, educator, education researcher and children to come explore their own creativity.
