This New Moon solar eclipse is happening in the first sign of the zodiac Aries in the first nakshatra Ashwini.

Aries is the sign of the pioneers. It is a time for new beginnings. Ashwini is the nakshatra of healing governed by the Ashwani kumaras who are the celestial healers. The planet ruling Ashwini is Ketu which is also about letting go, increased spirituality and deep transformational and generational healing.
