Vasota is a fort located in Satara district. Currently, the fort comes under the Sahyadri Tiger Reserve. Being in the Dense forest, it is also known as the Jungle fort.

3 hours round Trip in the Koyna Backwaters by a Boat.
The Trail to the Fort top through Jungles.

*Detailed Information :*
Saturday
11:00 pm : All participants to meet at Meeting Point
Sunday
05:00 am : Reach village. Rest for 1 hour.
06:00am :Wake up, fresh up.
07:00am : Have breakfast
07:30am : Depart for VASOTA by boat (2hrs journey)
09:30am : Reach Koyna Wild life sanctuary and start trek.
12:15 pm : Reach top of Fort and have packed food.
02:00 pm : Start Descending
04.30 pm : Reach Fort base and Depart for Village by boat
06.30pm : Reach base Village and have evening snacks.
10:00 pm : Back to Pune with lifelong memories.
*Things to carry:*
- Min 4-liter water.
- Good trekking shoes or sport shoes
- Towel / Napkin
- Electral Powder / Energy bars / Dry Snacks (dry fruits. biscuits, plum cakes etc)
- Extra Pair of Cloths
- Extra slippers if required during travelling.
- Cap, goggles, mosquito repellent, etc.

- Smoking and drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited.
- Please do not wear any jewelry and do not carry valuables.
- Participants are responsible for his/her own safety and baggage.
- Trek leader’s decision will be final decision.
- Company reserves all the right to change/deviate/cancel the plans without prior notice.
- Fees are non refundable on cancellation of booking.
- We take all necessary precautions for safety.
- However we will not be responsible for any type of injuries including accidental death happened due to uncertain events during the activity.
