Video editing is the final as well as the most important leg in the filmmaking process. A video editor can make or break a film. Whatever be the errors made during the filmmaking process, an editor tries to salvage the film by correcting all those mistakes during the post production process. Editors need to understand a script and work accordingly while editing the film. Only then, the film will come out the way the Director imagined it to be. This requires a lot of training.

Visualite Academy is now offering video editing crash course. This course is for a period of 15 days. It is open to all school students, college students, working professionals and anybody else who is interested in learning video editing. There are no restrictions for entry into this crash course. We aim to teach all the basic video editing concepts in this workshop. The class will cover both the usage of software for video editing as well as some crucial concepts such as understanding the script, being able to view a film from the cinematographer’s perspective etc. we urge students to register for this crash course as soon as possible. The course is also being offered through online classes for the benefit of those living outside Chennai.
