Western Ghats Drive

Day 1 Bangalore - Sirsi (460 kms)

Assembling to start the drive from Bangalore at a pre-decided location. Introduction to your fellow travelers, distribution of merchandise, team briefing and orientation about the drive. En-route we would be driving to "Jog Falls" (the majesty of western Ghats and one among the tallest waterfall in India) to experience and capture the scenic beauty of nature. Heading forward, drive along the western Ghats to visit the oldest town of Karnataka and one among the oldest place in India "Banavasi". The last stretch of the day to will end in Sirsi with an exotic stay in an resort enjoying the nature and tranquility

Day 2 Sirsi - Dandeli (155 kms)

After a relaxed evening we would have a comfortable start after breakfast & drive further north towards Dandeli (adventure capital of South India). The day's drive would not be that long but it would be filled with fun and surprises. En-route we will be driving to "Sahasralinga" were thousand's of carved Shiva Lingas can be seen on the banks of the river Shalmala. Heading forward enjoying the flora & fauna of western Ghats, drive to "Syntheri Rocks" an monolithic granite structure with a height of 300 feet located inside Kali tiger reserve and one of the most scenic tourist attractions which offers a wonderful time for the visitors with its beautiful landscape. The last stretch of the day's drive ends along the calm and serene view of back waters of Supa dam, but the day continues with many surprises. Prepare yourself to descend and rejoice in river Kali revitalizing your tea time on the raft capturing Hornbill's & golden sky. The day further ends with a big surprise followed by dinner in an jungle river resort.

 

Day 3 Dandeli - Bangalore (490 kms)

It would be last morning in the Western Ghats till the next visit. We will make it a leisure morning so that you have enough time to soak in fresh air and admire the beauty of Western Ghats. Go for an idyllic nature walk & bird watching followed by elaborate breakfast. Have a refreshing natural Jacuzzi bath and calm down your senses. Enjoy the thrill of water sports in river Kali (Boating, Jacuzzi, Kayaking....etc) before you head back to lunch and depart from the resort. Further it would be a drive back to our destination with unforgettable memories and friends for life time.

Trip Cost: INR 7499 + 5% GST / Per Person Children below 6yrs of age are complimentary, 6-12years will be charged 50% of the package cost, 12 years and above will be charged 100% of the package cost.

• Vehicle servicing, repairs, toll taxes, traffic fines

• Any cost arising out of unforeseen circumstances like ill-health, vehicle breakdown or repairs, damage accruing from land blocks, bad weather

• Additional accommodation charges due to unforeseen delays in the journey

• Any charges for carrying video camera or still camera

• Any hotel, subsistence or other cost incurred prior to the official start date of an expedition and after the official end date of the expedition

Cancellation Policy

• 25% of the tour cost will be charged if the booking is cancelled before 10 days of the trip

• 50% of the tour cost will be charged if the booking is cancelled before 8 days of the trip

• 100% of the tour cost will be charged if the booking is cancelled 0n or 8 days of the trip

Refund Policy

• In case of cancellation, the refund will be made in 07-10 working days as per the cancellation policy and subtracting 5% GST on the deposited amount.

• The refund will be made to the same account/mode through which transfers have been received.
