Youth Journalism as the name suggests is the hot and upcoming field for the youth. This job itself depends upon the digital platform with which most of the youngsters are very comfortable. This branch of Journalism expects youth from different parts of the world to connect through online platforms and report issues that are relevant to the world and to discuss ideas on what could make things better. This helps in reaching out to a larger group of audience at lower costs without much problem with geographical restrictions. It is a form of Journalism headed by the youth for the global welfare.

Chennai’s Visualite Academy is conducting its first ever online youth Journalism workshop as an initiative to bring together passionate youth during crisis times such as this pandemic and, give them the platform to express themselves and take the idea forward from thereon. The workshop aims to motivate youth who are passionate about journalism to take up the digital media as a platform to reach out to the rest of the world. Anyone with an interest in Journalism/ writing can enroll for this workshop. There are no restrictions based on age, gender, prior work experience and educational qualification.
