The 5% covers payment-gateway charges and platform fees. It's deducted automatically from your payouts — no separate invoicing, and nothing to pay when your attendees aren't paying.

How much does MeraEvents charge?
5% per ticket — but only on paid tickets. Free tickets cost nothing. That 5% covers payment-gateway charges and platform fees; no setup fees, no monthly subscription, no minimums. If our rate ever changes, your live events keep the rate they were created at.
How do payouts work?
Settlements land directly in your Indian bank account on the schedule we agree at signup. No forex, no international payout chains — just rupees in, rupees out.
Do you handle GST and TDS?
Yes. We auto-generate GST invoices for every ticket with your GSTIN. TDS is deducted at source and reflected in your 26AS. Your CA gets clean, Tally-importable reports.
What if my event is free?
Then it's free for you too. Unlimited registrations, unlimited tickets, QR check-in, dashboard, WhatsApp delivery — all on the same plan. The 5% only kicks in on tickets you actually charge for.
Can I sell tickets on my own website?
Yes. You can send buyers to your
meraevents.ai/events/your-event page, embed the ticket widget directly on your site, or use our API for a fully custom checkout.What payment methods do you support?
UPI (intent, QR, collect), credit and debit cards, net banking (all major Indian banks), and wallets (Paytm, PhonePe, etc.). One settlement, one reconciliation.
How does check-in work at the venue?
Use our free check-in app on any Android phone or tablet. Scan the attendee's QR (from WhatsApp or email) and they're in. It works offline if the venue Wi-Fi is patchy.
Can I move tickets from another platform to MeraEvents?
Yes. We import attendees from CSV (or directly from Eventbrite, Townscript, Insider, BookMyShow Stream) and re-issue QR tickets on WhatsApp. Migration help is included.
